Livengood - Pleasant

Hillsboro, May 25 - Pleasant Livengood well known farmer of this vicinity, expired at the Lakeview Hospital in Danville, Ill Tuesday night. Mr. Livengood succumbed following two operations which he underwent at the hospital recently. He was 74 years of age and was a highly respected resident of near Hillsboro. Mr. Livengood was the son of Keeling and Amanda Livengood and was born on a farm near Hillsboro, residing there most of his life. 50 years ago he was married to Miss Hester Ann Grimes who with two sons, Alfred of Hillsboro and Winfred of Hillsdale, NJ and one daughter, Mrs. Cora Walker of Williamsport survive. Two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Davis of Cayuga and Mrs. Hattie Myers of Wallace and three brothers, Manford of Indianapolis and Levi and Austin of Hillsboro also survive. He was a member of the Prairie Chapel Church. Funeral arrangements will not be completed until word has been received from all the near relatives. - kbz
